Naturesgist is giving an opportunity to our readers, bloggers, health professionals to share their expertise and interests with the Naturesgist community. We are looking for experts and enthusiasts in fitness, weight loss, diet, diabetes, cancer, natural health, healthcare, mind & body, skin care, fashion, relationship, lifestyle, fashion, celebrity wellness/family/makeup/clothes, etc.… to write for us.
We aim for high standards to ensure that our readers benefit as much as possible with useful and up to date information from experts, bloggers, journalists and others in the health industry with appropriate writing skills and style. Each submitted piece should fulfill the following;
Word Count: Articles MUST be a minimum of 1, 000 words for regular articles and 500 for Infographics.
Original Content: We ask that posts submitted be unique and original to Naturesgist. We do not accept posts that have already been published or submitted elsewhere online (not even on your personal blog). Note: We make use of copyscape to check plagiarism.
Bio and Promotion: We do not offer monetary compensation to contributors for posts submitted on our site, we’re more than happy to include a byline and your brief bio containing links to your Website & Social media accounts, which we will promote when your post goes live.
Remember you are allowed only one nofollow link in the author bio or article body and 2-3 social media links to your profiles. If you want more, please contact us.
Health Claims: If you mention a statistic or a study in your piece, please include a link to that source. If you’re claiming that a certain food is healthy, tell us how you know. Ideally, you’d link to peer reviewed scientific papers, academic journals, and/or credible news outlets. This way, readers can follow your line of thinking and investigate further if they want to know more. You should not forget to reference all these sources in your article see.
Photos: Photos are very helpful in providing visual aides to support your helpful offerings. All contributors are encouraged (not compulsory) to submit a photo with the post. Photos must not be less than 700 pixels wide by 400 pixels long. Photos must support the article by giving the reader a visual feel of the article contents. (if you don’t own the rights please give credit to the copyright owner, no web page or links allowed only name: example IMAGE BY MIKE OR IMAGE BY MYFITNESSMAG).
Turnaround Time: Naturesgist consists of just a few people, as such, sometimes we don’t have the opportunity to respond to all submissions, we can assure you, however, that we carefully read every single submission that we receive. If your post has been accepted, we will respond within 21 days.
By submitting to Naturesgist you acknowledge that you accept our terms, and any form of editing that might occur on behalf of the Naturesgist editorial team.
We require all our writers to promote all of their Naturesgist contents via social media. That means you need to at least tweet about your latest work and “Like” it on Facebook (and promote via other social media channels as you see fit — Google Plus, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.).
So, what’s next?
- Make sure you AGREE to all of Naturesgist’s guidelines and requirements, article won’t be deleted once we publish it and rights belong to Naturesgist.
- Email your article in a word document (.doc, .docx) with your author bio, REAL headshot and links to at least one social media account to email@example.com
We will then review and if it meets our requirement it will be published within 21 days and if there is any issue you will be notified by email, so please be patient. Also note that all links within your article are NOFOLLOWED (with one dofollow).
Please note that Amazon products are sometimes added to articles.
By submitting your article, you have agreed and accepted our terms and conditions, Articles will not be deleted once published, LIVE articles are properties of Naturesgist. You do not have the right to use the article anywhere without permission. You can share and excerpt on your site or social media with a link back to the article on Naturesgist.
